How to Defend a Rear Shoulder Grab • Self Defense • FightFast

The rear shoulder grab is one of the most common moves that an attacker uses when starting a confrontation. Christophe Clugston demonstrates a fast and easy self defense technique that effectively disrupts the attacker who decides to grab your shoulder from the back. It’s a simple and effective self defence move that strikes the crook of the elbow or bicep tendon, using your body weight as leverage to bring the attacker down to his knees. This then gives you an opening to decide whether you want to continue the fight or flee the scene and avoid any further trouble.
